these are good stories. I can definitely relate to poking at the underlying assumptions of novel social situations much to everyone else's obvious (but surprising to me!) discomfort. it's the kind of thing that people often laugh off as 'autism', but really I believe we were making the faux pas of actually thinking about what was happening, which is often punished
